Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains the billing, cancellation, and refund rules for subscriptions purchased from Compounding Memo LLC, doing business as The Compounding Memo (“Compounding Memo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), through compoundingmemo.com (the “Website”).

By purchasing a subscription or using our Services, you agree to this Policy.

1. Subscription Billing

Compounding Memo offers paid subscription newsletters and related content (“Subscription Services”) billed on a monthly recurring basis.

When you subscribe, you authorize Compounding Memo (through our payment processor, Stripe) to automatically charge your selected payment method each month unless you cancel.

2. Automatic Renewal

All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly billing period unless cancelled prior to renewal.

Your subscription will continue renewing until you cancel.

3. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal or another cancellation method we provide.

If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you will continue to have access to subscriber content until that billing period ends.

Cancellation prevents future charges but does not reverse past charges.

4. No Refund Policy (All Sales Final)

All payments are final. We do not offer refunds.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Partial-month refunds

  • Unused subscription time

  • Accidental purchases

  • Failure to cancel before renewal

  • Dissatisfaction with content

  • Failure to download or access content

  • Changes in financial circumstances

  • Subscription inactivity

By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to a refund for any reason.

5. Service Discontinuation

If Compounding Memo permanently discontinues a Subscription Service during an active billing period for which you have already been charged, we will provide a prorated refund or credit for the unused portion of that billing period at our discretion. This is the sole exception to the no-refund policy stated in Section 4.

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access to the Subscription Services.

We may provide documentation to Stripe and your payment provider, including proof of subscription delivery, access logs, email delivery records, and acceptance of this Policy and our Terms of Use.

7. Access After Cancellation

Once your subscription period ends, you will lose access to subscriber-only materials, including portfolio update files and paid newsletters.

We are not obligated to continue providing access after cancellation or expiration.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this Policy at any time. If we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
